Here it is! A list of gluten free foods that actually taste good. NO CARDBOARD TASTING FOOD...WE DON'T NEED THAT!
I have tried all of them and they taste quite delicious. Let's just say they have my vote! Don't get it twisted though.....most of these foods are not nutrient dense but we are all human and like to enjoy all types of foods...Its called BALANCE!
After having to go gluten free due to a gluten sensitivity I was forced to navigate the world of gluten free products. I was not happy about how most of the food was tasteless. However, I had to adapt to this lifestyle to protect my health so I went on a mission to try and find gluten free foods I actually enjoyed eating.
You might be wondering what is gluten sensitivity?
Well its a little different than Celiac. A person with Celiac can die because of an immune response and their body thinks its under attack from eating gluten whereas someone who is gluten sensitive will have minimal symptoms if none at all. Sometimes small shifts such as brain fog, bloating, feeling tired, etc. can happen. I know they sure did for me. However, over time with continued consumption gluten can wear down the lining of the GUT and cause Leaky Gut (which I had and healed myself). Leaky gut can then trigger auto immune conditions to set in......and that was not what I wanted. So I changed my diet and adapted to my new way of life. GAME CHANGER! I feel so much better since switching to a GF LIFE.
Gluten Free is definitely not for everyone as we are all different. But here are some great options for those who are are interested in trying some of the alternatives or if you have someone in your life who is GF and you want to have options on hand for them.
This brand of gluten free bread tastes really good and they have a wide variety of products. The focaccia bread is my fav! They have everything from sandwich bread, hamburger buns, bagels, and more!

The pizza is actually pretty good! Of course it won't be like regular pizza but it is satisfying and cooks really quickly. You can add fresh veggies and other toppings to jazz it up a bit. I just can't jump on the cauliflower pizza train even as a nutritionist. If I am going to eat pizza, I am going to eat PIZZA!
The GF bread and bagels from this brand are also good.

To me this tastes just like regular pasta and is very satisfying, the ingredients are so clean. You can fool those non believers and make them a meal GF without telling them and see notice a difference. And GF pastas are lighter so you won't feel as full or bloated.

Tastes wonderful and is a nice alternative to brown rice. Especially great for those who suffer from diabetes as it has less of an affect on blood sugar.
