Delicious creamy homemade oat milk is the perfect addition to any drink or food recipe. Plus it is one of the easiest recipes to make. If you have 2 minutes to spare, you can make your own oat milk home.
I prefer to make my plant-based milk at home for numerous reasons.
It tastes better
It is not full of sugar
It does not contain unhealthy additives
It does not contain preservatives
It is more cost-effective
It is better for the environment
If you are new to plant-based milk, you will find that oat milk has a nice creamy and very delightful semi-sweet taste.

Ingredients
1 cup whole rolled oats. It is essential to use organic oats because conventional oats are sprayed heavily with pesticides and weed killer.
3 cups filtered water
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
Optional: Add sweetener of choice. I suggest using as little as possible to give the oat milk a slight sweetness. Honey and maple syrup are wonderful healthy options.
Add 1/4 tsp cinnamon. Cinnamon is a wonderful way to increase the nutritional value of this delicious drink while helping to balance blood sugar levels. Ceylon cinnamon is a great option because it is rich in antioxidants that will encourage healthy skin, hair and nails.
Directions
1.) Add all ingredients into a blender and blend for 40 seconds.
2.) Place a mesh strainer over a bowl and pour the milk over the strainer.
3.) For a creamer texture, pour oat milk through the strainer twice.
4.) Store in fridge in an airtight container
The oat milk will last about 5-7 days in the fridge.
I really hope you enjoy this healthy and delicious oat milk recipe. Cheers to good health.
