Water for a Healthy Body



If you’re looking to improve your health Clean Filtered Water should be of top priority. The human body is composed of up to 75% water and it’s very important to replenish it in adequate amounts daily to function optimally, eliminate waste, aids in digestion, provide energy, to achieve healthier hair skin and nails, and to feel great. Tap water can pose serious health complications due to the high amounts of chemicals such as: pesticides, fluoride, heavy metals, human and animal waste, cysts and other parasites, chlorine, antibiotics, arsenic, lead, nitrates, and the list goes on and on. (This also gets absorbed into your body while in the shower so shower filters are equally important, but I will save that for another post). The water industry is not regulated and so bottled isn’t always the best choice. So what’s a healthier option? An at home filtration system that removes as many chemicals as possible while leaving the healthy minerals in the water. I use a 3 stage carbon sink filtration system by @aquasana You can use it for drinking water, cleaning veggies and fruits (why buy organic fruits and veggies and then wash them in tap water which is full of toxins?) water for cooking, etc. You can fill up your water jugs and take them with you during the day to always have clean fresh water on hand. And don’t forget about your pets. They are not immune to the toxins in tap water. If you are not too keen on drinking water a great way to make it taste better is to add some fruit.
