Natural beauty tips to help you achieve bright and healthy looking eyes at every age. The skin under the eyes is the thinnest on the face and tends to get tugged and pulled quite easily, leading to unnecessary damage. Practicing a few natural beauty tips daily can help keep our eyes healthy and beautiful at every age.
When we are tired and stressed, the under-eye area often looks dark, puffy, and fine lines are accentuated. Let's learn some easy and cost effective ways to naturally minimize dark under eyes, puffiness, and wrinkles.
1. Plump the Skin from the Inside

Hydrated skin is plump, moisturized, and wrinkles appear less prominent. To keep your eyes youthful and healthy, hydrate from the inside out. Unfortunately, plain water does not hydrate the body well. For the water to be absorbed and hydrate our cells, it needs electrolytes/minerals.
Try an electrolyte balance drink like this one It hydrates the body and encourages healthier skin, hair, and nails because it's packed with beauty minerals.
Eat more fruits and vegetables. They are more hydrating than plain water alone and are packed with skin loving nutrients. Watch my TV episode for tips on the healthiest ways to stay hydrated for gorgeous skin, hair, and nails.

2. Apply Oil Under the Eyes

Truth be told, you don't need a fancy eye cream to keep your eyes looking youthful. Moisturized skin is healthy skin. The goal should be to keep the skin under the eyes as moisturized as possible. After moisturizing, adding a few drops of oil under the eyes will provide an extra layer of moisture to prevent makeup from settling into fine lines and plumping the under eye.
After you apply your moisturizer, add a few drops of facial oil like this one under the eyes and gently pat with the ring finger. Rosehip oil is incredibly nourishing and helps to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Pai Rosehip Bioregenerate Oil

4. Try Caffeinated Eye Creams

If you do choose to use an eye cream you might consider using one with caffeine. Caffeine eye creams effectively minimize dark circles and puffiness by improving blood circulation to ensure oxygen and nutrients are delivered to the skin, promoting a healthier and more vibrant appearance. Caffeine also has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help soothe the eye area and reduce swelling.
Caffeine eye creams such as this one contain hydrating ingredients that also plump the skin for a firmer and more youthful appearance. This clean beauty eye cream is my favorite because it's made with natural ingredients and works incredibly well. It also smells like freshly baked cookies. Yum!
5. Caffeinated Tea Bags

Are you noticing a trend here? Caffeine is an effective natural remedy for reducing dark under the eyes and puffiness. It works so well that I've been using caffeinated tea bags on my eyes since I was a teengaer. It's a cost-effective and easy way to get bright and beautiful eyes naturally. All you need is either black or green tea bags and cold water. I prefer black tea bags, but choose whichever works best for you.
Directions:
Take two caffeinated tea bags and soak in cold water for one minute.
Squeeze out the extra water.
Place over the eyes for 10-20 minutes.
Remove and apply skincare as usual.
6. Treat Eyes Like Fine Silk

You would be surprised at how many people pull, tug, and aggressively rub their under eyes, leading to accelerated aging. The area under the eye is the thinnest on the face, and aggressive daily movements cause fine lines, wrinkles, and contribute to puffiness.
Make sure to use your ring finger when applying products around the eyes. The ring finger has the least amount of strength. Gently tap products in instead of rubbing and pulling the skin.
7.) Face Yoga
Face Yoga combines facial exercises, facial massage, and acupressure techniques. Daily practice can minimize fine lines and wrinkles, stimulate collagen production, improve skin elasticity, lift skin, firm skin, decrease hyper pigmentation, and support lymphatic drainage, and decrease dark circles and under eye puffiness.
Try the techniques in the above video to to minimize dark under eyes, puffiness, and to achieve healthy glowing skin.

8.) Get Adequate Sleep

Lack of quality sleep can contribute to premature aging, dehydrated skin, dark circles under the eyes, redness, and breakouts. Sleeping helps repair, rejuvenate, and detoxify the body for healthy and glowing skin. Many people suffer from sleep issues, and learning a few techniques can help you look and feel your best at any age.

9.) Consume a Healthy Diet

Our skin reflects our health; when we nourish our body, we also nourish our beauty. Imagine how gorgeous your skin will look with all the healthy food you are eating. You will glow from the inside out.
A diet high in processed foods, sugar and devoid of fiber and nutrients can contribute to skin issues such as acne, dull and dry skin, and premature aging. Instead of purchasing foods with a long ingredient label, consider buying fresh foods in their whole form. Foods such as vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy, grains, nuts, and seeds contain significant amounts of nutrients that will nourish your skin from the inside out.
Make sure to to include a variety of healthy foods into each meal. Foods such as protein, healthy fats, vegetables, fruits, soaked and sprouted nuts and seeds, beans, and rice are excellent choices. Don't forget to drink plenty of water packed with minerals.
10. Focus on Self-Care

Making time for wellness is essential to looking and feeling our best. When stressed and tired, the first place to show it is under our eyes. A healthy outside starts from the inside, and dark under eyes and puffiness can be improved by minimizing stress.
Take a moment to pause and breathe in through the nose for five seconds, hold for seven, and release through the nose for eight seconds. This small yet effective breathing exercise can quickly improve your mood, help you relax, and support a vibrant appearance. Anytime you feel stressed, return to the breath.
