Consuming a wide variety of fruits and vegetables is the key to good health and vibrant beauty however, it isn't always easy enough of them. Practicing a few simple tricks can help you increase your fruit and vegetable intake while making it easier and more delicious.
Tips for Making it Easier to Consume More Veggies
1.) Wash and cut veggies as soon as you get home and place them in a container for easy snacking. This makes it much easier to make healthier choices when you are hungry.
2.) Fill up mason jars with water and place sliced veggies such as cucumbers, bell peppers, and celery in them. This will extend the life of the veggies and make it easy for a quick snack. Cut veggies in mason jars with water can last close to 3-4 weeks.
3.) Find a dip or dressing that you really enjoy to make it more enjoyable to eat vegetables regularly.
4.) Make delicious soups and add a lot of vegetables. Soup is a great way to get a wide range of nutrient-dense vegetables in one meal.
5.) Add them to your smoothies. What? Yes, adding vegetables to fruit smoothies is a great way to get more of them in your diet without even having to taste them.
Most people assume that smoothies should only be made with fruits, but that is far from the truth. You can sneak veggies into most smoothies without even tasting them. It is great for picky eaters and children because they won't even notice the difference but will get all the amazing benefits from their veggie-packed smoothie.
