Healthy Strawberry Mint Lemonade. This simple and delicious recipe encourages beauty from the inside out. I made this delicious lemonade for my Women’s Wellness Retreat that I taught a few weeks ago, and it was such a big hit! It is the perfect way to get extra fruit into your diet, and the kiddos will love it too.
Recipe:
2 1/2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
2-3 cups water
15-20 organic strawberries
10 mint leaves
Honey to taste Directions
In a blender, combine freshly squeezed lemon juice and strawberries and blend well.
Pour liquid through a strainer into a picture to remove the seeds for a smoother consistency.
Heat your desired amount of honey on low on the stovetop with a bit of water to make a solution. Once the honey is entirely in liquid form, you can slowly add it to your preferred sweetness.
Pinch the pinch leaves with your hands to release their oils. Do not muddle them, as this will make them taste bitter. Place the mint leaves into the picture and mix very well
Leave in the fridge for at least an hour for the mint to release its flavor
Add ice, and enjoy!
