I made this delicious lemonade for my Women’s Wellness Retreat I taught a few weeks ago and it was such a big hit! Its the perfect way to get a little extra fruit into your diet and the kiddos will love it too.
Brownie points if you use he remainder for popsicles
Recipe: 2 1/2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice 2-3 cups water 15-20 organic strawberries 10 mint leaves Honey to taste In a blender combine fresh squeezed lemon juice and strawberries and blend well. Pour liquid through a strainer into a picture to remove the seeds for a smoother consistency if you like
Heat your desired amount of honey on low on the stove top with a bit of water to make a solution. Once the honey is fully in liquid form you can slowly add in to your preferred sweetness
Pinch the pinch leaves with you hands to release their oils. Do not muddle them as this will make it taste bitter. Place the mint leaves into the picture
Mix very well
Leave in fridge for at least an hour for the mint to release its flavor
Add ice and enjoy!
