Dry body brushing is the practice of brushing your body with a firm bristled brush on dry skin before the shower. It helps to exfoliate the skin and increase blood flow for a healthy glow. It rejuvenates the nervous system and can be quite energizing so I always suggest doing it in the morning. It puts an extra pep in your step. I always feel amazing afterward.

How to Use a Dry Brush


  • To get started find a brush you enjoy, start at the feet working your way toward the heart in long fluid strokes following the diagram for optimal benefits.


  • On your knees, elbows and shoulders move the brush in a circular motion.


  • On your stomach move the brush counter clockwise in a circular motion.


  • Once you finish pop in the shower to rinse off


  • It's best practice in the morning because it is so energizing.
